PUSHKAR LAKE
Pushkar Lake is the largest artificial lake in Asia. It is located in Rajasthan, India. You can view Pushkar Lake either from on top of the ghats or by taking a boat ride round it. RANGJI TEMPLE
The town is home to many temples and other holy places, including the famous Rangji Temple. The temple was built by Maharaja Ajaipal Singh in 1793. ATMATESHWAR TEMPLE
The temple is located in the city of Ajmer in Rajasthan. It was built by King Ajay Pal Chauhan in the 12th century. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of India. The temple has a white marble spire that reaches up to 150 feet high and has a circumference of about 600 feet. The spire has sculptures of various Hindu gods and goddesses carved on it, such as Ganesha, Saraswati, Parvati, Laxmi-Narsimha, Vishnu-Narayana, and Mahishasuramardini.
VARAHA TEMPLE
The VARAHA TEMPLE at Pushkar, built in the 12th century AD, enshrines an image of Varaha or the boar incarnation of Vishnu who saved Earth from demon Hiranyaksha's deluge by lifting it on his tusks and carrying it to safety. The Pushkar Lake has been considered sacred for centuries and many people come every year to bathe in its waters for purification. The ghats are lined with temples, restaurants and shops that sell goods to pilgrims and tourists alike.
SAVITRI TEMPLE
The temple is one of the most famous temples in India and is believed to be the birthplace of goddess Sita. It is also known as the “southernmost Hindu temple”. The temple was built by Raja Bhoj, the king of Malwa, in 1026 AD. It is a popular temple in India that has been a part of history for over a thousand years.
GURUDWARA SINGH
It is located in the town of Ajmer, Rajasthan. It has a total area of 14000 square meters. The present building of this Gurudwara was built by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh and it is a three-storey structure with a spacious courtyard in front.
SRI PANCHKUND SHIVA
It is one of the most popular temples in Rajasthan. The temple has a lot of significance for Hindus and it is believed that those who visit the temple will be free from all sins. It is believed that this temple was built to commemorate Lord Shiva’s victory over a demon who had taken on the form of a buffalo. The Panchkund Shiva Temple was built over this site as it marks the place where Lord Shiva finally killed the animal with his trident.
