AJMER SHARIF DARGAH

The dargah complex has four gates - Delhi Gate, Lahore Gate, Kabul Gate and Kandahar Gate. The carvings on the exterior walls are quite exquisite and make for a great photo opportunity. Soniji ki Nasiyan Ajmer also has a fascinating history behind it. It was built by Queen Padmavati in 1193 and was renovated by her grandson Prithviraj Chauhan in 1213 CE.
LAKE FOY SAGAR
Lake foy sagar also known as the "Sarovar of Foysal" or "Sarovar of Ajmer". The lake is believed to be one of the places where Lord Rama, who was an avatar of Vishnu, spent his exile. It is a freshwater lake located about 2 km from the city centre and has an area of 1.2 square km. The water in this lake remains cool throughout the year which makes it perfect for boating and other water sports activities.
